Exhausted.
Day4: Least Favourite Princess
Hmmz i think it's merida from brave. Okay don't kill me now, Merida-lovers, i don't have anything against her, it's just i don't like her hair haha. It reminds me of Victoria's from Twilight and Merida has more of the innocent feel than a disney princess one but then again I haven't watched Brave yet so i shouldn't judge. Though she seems like the brave, tough kind, not the girly, afraid-of-everything kind of princess so yeah i kinda like her, just not as much as the others.
I've been so tired lately I just feel like dying. Thank God there's a half day tmr, I can FINALLY sleep in!Asdfghjkl why are there so many tests this term, it's so freaking stressful argh. Okay i should really go now, need to mug, sorry for this super short post!:(

#day2: Favourite Prince
Hmmm my favourite prince? I think it'll most probably be Aladdin since I've haven't watched Tangled and the Princess and the Frog(yes I know I'm slow) though the prince from Tangled, Flynn (he's not a prince right?aish but whatever) seems quite funny.
Aladdin's really charismatic and cool and kind-hearted. Plus he's really romantic, bringing Jasmine on a magic carpet ride at night<3
#day3: Favourite couple
Okay this is hard. I have no idea on which couple to pick.
I guess it's Mulan and Shang.
I think they're very sweet together, especially in Mulan 2 and they act just like best friends.
I guess I like Aurora and Prince Phillip too?
I can't really recall the details of their relationship in Sleeping Beauty, but i think it's kinda sweet that they liked each other since young and when they grew up, Prince Phillip went to save her from the curse(:
Oh yeah Belle and Prince Adam(The Beast), I like how they complement each other perfectly and how,through Belle, Adam changed for the better and became a human again.
ohmygosh i just read this twilight fanfic and it's ending is so freaking sad😭 It traces the life of Bella and Edward from young till old and they're best friends who fell in love.In the end, when they got old, there was this chapter about Edward dying and my heart just broke:'( It's so freaking sad, I just hate death:(

Yup I promised to do the 30 day challenge thingy so here's it.Day 1-Favourtie princesses
I think I only have 1 favourite princess among the 11 disney princesses which is Ariel from The Little Mermaid!Okay, I'm gonna assume everyone knows Ariel cause.. you do know her right?
And i just went to wikipedia about the little mermaid,the original story written by Hans Christian Andersen and apparently the disney film is really different from the original story.It goes like this:
The Little Mermaid lives in an underwater kingdom with her father, the sea king; her grandmother and her five elder sisters, each born one year apart. When a mermaid turns 15, she is allowed to swim to the surface to watch the world above, and as the sisters become old enough, one of them visits the surface every year. As each of them returns, the Little Mermaid listens longingly to their various descriptions of the surface and of human beings.
When the Little Mermaid's turn comes, she ventures to the surface, sees a ship with a handsome prince, and falls in love with him from a distance. A great storm hits and the Little Mermaid saves the prince from nearly drowning. She delivers him unconscious to the shore near a temple. Here she waits until a young girl from the temple finds him. The prince never sees the Little Mermaid.
The Little Mermaid asks her grandmother whether humans can live forever if they do not drown. The grandmother explains that humans have a much shorter lifespan than merfolks' 300 years, but that when mermaids die they turn to sea foam and cease to exist, while humans have an eternal soul that lives on in Heaven. The Little Mermaid, longing for the prince and an eternal soul, eventually visits the Sea Witch, who sells her a potion that gives her legs in exchange for her tongue (as the Little Mermaid has the most intoxicating voice in the world). The Sea Witch warns, however, that once she becomes a human, she will never be able to return to the sea. Drinking the potion will make her feel as if a sword is being passed through her, yet when she recovers she will have two beautiful legs, and will be able to dance like no human has ever danced before. However, it will constantly feel like she is walking on sharp swords hard enough to make her bleed. In addition, she will only get a soul if she finds true love's kiss and if the prince loves her and marries her, for then a part of his soul will flow into her. Otherwise, at dawn on the first day after he marries another woman, the Little Mermaid will die brokenhearted and disintegrate into sea foam.
The Little Mermaid drinks the potion and meets the prince, who is attracted to her beauty and grace even though she is mute. Most of all he likes to see her dance and she dances for him despite her excruciating pain. When the prince's father orders his son to marry the neighboring king's daughter, the prince tells the Little Mermaid he will not because he does not love the princess. He goes on to say he can only love the young woman from the temple, who he believes rescued him. It turns out that the princess is the temple girl, who had been sent to the temple to be educated. The prince loves her and the wedding is announced.
The prince and princess marry, and the Little Mermaid's heart breaks. She thinks of all that she has given up and of all the pain she has suffered. She despairs, thinking of the death that awaits her, but before dawn, her sisters bring her a knife that the Sea Witch has given them in exchange for their long hair. If the Little Mermaid slays the prince with the knife and lets his blood drip on her feet, she will become a mermaid again, all her suffering will end and she will live out her full life.
The Little Mermaid cannot bring herself to kill the sleeping prince lying with his bride and as dawn breaks she throws herself into the sea. Her body dissolves into foam, but instead of ceasing to exist, she feels the warmth of the sun; she has turned into a spirit, a daughter of the air. The other daughters of the air tell her she has become like them because she strove with all her heart to gain an eternal soul. She will earn her own soul by doing good deeds for 300 years; for each good child she finds, one year would be taken from her sentence while for each bad child, she would cry and each tear would mean one day more and she will eventually rise up into the kingdom of God.
(taken from Wikipedia)The ending is so freaking sad and tragic.It's depressing and I'm thankful that Disney let Ariel have her happily ever after.After all,everyones deserves one. Why is the original story so depressing, I'm glad I've never read it as a kid, too gloomy for a little child. It's like saying how you can never have this person you like, cause it's just not meant to be/ he or she is too way out of your league. And it's sad that the little mermaid in the story danced her heart out for the prince despite the pain but yet, still ceased to gain his love. It's quite similar to reality huh.
Anyway, there's a little mermaid 3, I never knew:O Oh I am slow geez.Gonna watch this hols omg<3 I wanna be like Ariel if it's ever possible, she's so brave and lovely, a perfect disney princess and a role model<3

Just love disney stuff and all my old disney cartoons like Kim Possible, ADJL, The Emperor's New School, The Replacements, Lilo and Stitch and other cartoon shows like Teen Titans, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Foster's home for imaginary friends, Ben 10, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Camp Lazlo, etc. I just miss my childhood so very much, sigh why did they have to take away all my favourite shows?:( Now almost all the cartoons suck like Upin and Ipin, Oggy and the Cockroaches and whatnot. Phineas and Ferb is like the only nice one left.
Went to SNG( Singapore National Games) Opening Ceremony with my team yesterday for CIP and it was rather boring:P We had to reahc early to help out with raft and stuff and it was just freaking hot and energy-draining. But it was kinda fun at the end where we chased after the balls which they threw into the water. The red ones had the 10 different sports printed on it and we were going crazy running after them hehe. Celeste got the huge like really huge white ball and i sat on it to deflate it! Just gotta love my captain,why is she so adorable! But in the end we had to return the balls cause they needed it for the closing ceremony. Dang:( All the running for nothing but oh well it was fun. i think risa has one in her bag, i'm not sure though. Wish we had saved the huge white ball:(
Argh so lazy to blog,gotta give some credit to xiangmin for always updating her blog and typing long posts which are interesting. I have no idea how that girl does it man.
I shall start like later for the challenge,gotta rush to tuition now sian.

Had a kinda good/suckish day today:X Went to land training in the morning and we had to run 10 rounds omg:( Okay,it may seem nothing to those sporty ppl but i'm not sporty at all and i hate running so yeah.But we still managed to complete it!#ohyeah Proud of my canoeing family:') I think that after all these tough times we spent tgthr,encouraging one another (and gaying around),we've really bonded as a team:D Love you guys<3
Then I went to orchard with mommy to shop for a dress for Pastor Joey's wedding which is this sat!!!#excited But i couldnt find a right dress so I was kinda depressed:'(
Yeahh and I recently started spazzing over JB (Jonas Brothers NOT bieber!) again hohoho.I've always loved them since 2009 and they'll always be my fav boy band:) Andddd THEY'RE COMING BACK THIS YEAR!!!!#jonasbrothers2012 OMG I CANT WAIT. But I hope that they haven't changed much,still the same goofy,innocent teenagers that were a part of childhood. And Joe is forever having the WRONG haircut why!:(
And I'm sorta reviving my childhood again!Fell in love with American Dragon:Jake Long again<3 He is so hot for a cartoon character and even though my class thinks i'm delusional it's okay.After all,you're only young once! Oh and I don't know who/what American Dragon is,go your head on the wall and slap yourself and google it cause your childhood sucks.
